Iranian MP Warns Trump To ‘Order Coffins’ After US Strikes; Tehran Vows Retaliation

An Iranian Member of Parliament has issued a stark warning to the United States in response to recent airstrikes on Iran's nuclear facilities, declaring that President Donald Trump should "order mass production" of "coffins" for American troops.

Qasem Ravanbakhsh, an MP representing Iran's Qom province, vowed retaliation against what he referred to as the "terrorist forces of America."

"Trump should order mass production from coffin-making companies as soon as possible to transfer the bodies of American military personnel stationed in the region," Ravanbakhsh said.

The warning follows President Trump's confirmation on Sunday via Truth Social that US forces had carried out targeted airstrikes on three of Iran's key nuclear sites.

In a brief address to the nation, Trump claimed the operation had "obliterated" Iran's nuclear enrichment infrastructure and prevented its alleged attempts to develop nuclear weapons.

Ravanbakhsh, however, dismissed Trump's assertions, particularly downplaying the reported damage to the underground Fordow facility, which is thought to be a central site for uranium enrichment.

Speaking to Iran's semi-official Tasnim News Agency, he said, "The damage to the Fordow facilities is not as great as the American media and the criminal Trump are saying, and the underground facilities have not been damaged."

He went on to assure that the international community "should be confident" that Iran's "nuclear knowledge" remains intact and "cannot be destroyed by these crimes."

Ravanbakhsh's comments came shortly after Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also condemned the US airstrikes, branding them criminal acts and war crimes.

Araghchi warned that the United States would face "everlasting consequences" for its actions.

Meanwhile, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a statement on state television, warning the US to "expect regrettable responses" following the attacks on Tehran's nuclear infrastructure.
