Iran Vs Israel and USA: India Urges Its Citizens in Israel to ‘Exercise Utmost Caution’

As tensions spiral in the Middle East following Israeli strikes on Tehran and rising fears of Iranian retaliation, India has moved swiftly to safeguard its citizens in Israel.

The Embassy of India, Tel Aviv issued a strong advisory on Saturday, urging all Indian nationals to remain alert and strictly adhere to security instructions issued by Israeli authorities. The mission advised Indians to avoid unnecessary movement, stay close to designated shelters, and closely monitor updates from Israel's Home Front Command as missile alerts and sirens continue across several cities.

The advisory comes at a time of heightened uncertainty, with airspace disruptions, emergency measures, and the possibility of further escalation between Israel and Iran. Officials stressed that personal safety must be the top priority and that complacency could prove dangerous in a rapidly changing security environment.

Thousands of Indian citizens - including caregivers, students, IT professionals and diamond industry workers - are currently residing in Israel. The embassy has activated emergency helplines and remains in close coordination with local authorities to assess risks and respond to any evolving situation. While no evacuation has been announced, contingency planning is understood to be under review.
