Iran’s Top Security Body Announces Ceasefire With Israel
The Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) of Iran on Tuesday announced that its military response forced the Zionist regime and its Western allies to cease their aggressive operations unilaterally.
Iran's forces, under the guidance of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, launched significant retaliatory strikes. These included a missile attack on a US base in Qatar and extensive assaults on positions within the occupied Palestinian territories. The SNSC emphasized that these actions were part of a broader strategy to neutralize enemy threats.

Iran's Strategic Response
The SNSC credited Iran's unity and military readiness for effectively countering the enemy's strategies. Over twelve days, Iranian defense forces utilized their full capabilities to deliver timely responses to hostile actions. This period saw Iran employing years of strategic planning and innovation in its defense operations.
"In recognition of the Iranian nation's deep awareness and wise conduct, and thanks to the strategic leadership of the Leader and the sacrifices of the nation's devoted fighters, divine assistance manifested in the form of victory and deterrence," stated the SNSC. The enemy was compelled to retreat and halt its aggression unilaterally.
Israel's Ceasefire Agreement
Meanwhile, Israel agreed to a bilateral ceasefire proposal from U.S. President Donald Trump. Israel expressed gratitude for U.S. support in addressing Iranian nuclear threats. The Israeli Prime Minister's Office confirmed this agreement after achieving objectives during Operation Rising Lion.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu convened with key officials to discuss Israel's achievements in Operation Rising Lion. The operation reportedly removed existential threats related to nuclear issues and ballistic missiles, marking significant progress for Israel.
Operational Achievements
Israel claimed air superiority over Tehran and inflicted severe damage on Iran's military leadership. The IDF targeted regime sites in Tehran, eliminating militants from Basij and a senior nuclear scientist. These actions were part of Israel's broader strategy during recent conflicts.
The Israeli government advised citizens to follow IDF Home Front Command directives until ceasefire compliance is confirmed. They expressed solidarity with families affected by recent hostilities and wished recovery for those injured during conflicts.
Continued Vigilance
The SNSC warned that despite halting hostilities, Iran remains vigilant against potential threats. It reaffirmed readiness for swift responses if aggression resumes, emphasizing distrust in hostile powers' promises or rhetoric.
The statement concluded by praising Iranian resilience and unity while reiterating commitment to defending sovereignty and regional peace. Both nations remain alert as they navigate ongoing tensions in their region.
