Iran's Revolutionary Guards Threaten 'Crushing Attacks' On Israel Amid Escalating Missile Strikes
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a stark warning, threatening to carry out "crushing attacks" against Israel if it retaliates for ongoing missile strikes.
In a statement relayed by the Fars news agency on Tuesday, the IRGC cautioned that any Israeli response to Iranian military operations would be met with overwhelming force.

The missile strikes, launched on Tuesday evening, targeted Tel Aviv, Israel's major commercial center, according to Iranian state media. The attack follows a warning from the United States, which had earlier indicated that an Iranian ballistic missile strike on Israel was imminent and cautioned Tehran that such actions could result in severe consequences.
Iranian media shared footage showing missiles purportedly being fired at Israel. This marks the second Iranian missile attack on Israel, following a similar strike in April. That attack, which also involved drones, was carried out in retaliation for an Israeli airstrike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus. Most of the munitions fired in the April attack were intercepted by Israel and its allies.
The latest escalation comes after an Israeli airstrike on Beirut on Friday, which resulted in the death of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. Hezbollah, a Lebanese militant group, has long been supported by Iran, receiving arms and financial backing. Nasrallah was reportedly killed alongside General Abbas Nilforoushan, a high-ranking commander of the IRGC's Quds Force, which handles foreign operations. Iran has vowed retaliation for Nilforoushan's death, stating that his killing "will not go unanswered."
The situation remains tense as both Iran and Israel brace for potential further escalations in the conflict.
