Iran-Israel Conflict: India Issues Advisory For Nationals In Israel; Warns Citizens To Remain Vigilant
Amid tensions between Iran and Israel, India has asked all Indian nationals to stay vigilant and adhere to the safety protocols.
In a post on X, Embassy of India in Israel, "In view of the prevailing situation in the region, all Indian nationals in Israel are advised to stay vigilant and adhere to the safety protocols as advised by the Israeli authorities and home front command. Please exercise caution, avoid unnecessary travel within the country and stay close to safety shelters."

It has to be noted that the Indian Embassy in Iran issued an advisory for Indian nationals and persons of Indian origin to exercise caution on Friday.
Meanwhile, Iran fired a barrage of missiles at Israel overnight into Saturday, killing at least three people and injuring dozens, in retaliation for a devastating Israeli assault targeting Iran's nuclear program and military leadership.
The earlier Israeli strikes-conducted with warplanes and covertly deployed drones-hit key facilities and killed senior Iranian generals and nuclear scientists. Tehran claims the attack left 78 dead and over 320 wounded. Israel defended the operation as preemptive, alleging Iran was nearing atomic weapons capability, though U.S. intelligence and experts assessed Tehran had not yet actively pursued a bomb.
In response, Iran unleashed drones and multiple waves of ballistic missiles, lighting up the skies over Jerusalem and Tel Aviv with explosions that rattled buildings below. The Israeli military issued urgent shelter orders, heightening tensions in a population already on edge from the ongoing war in Gaza.
The escalation casts doubt on stalled U.S.-Iran negotiations over a revived nuclear deal, just days before planned talks in Oman. Iran's Foreign Ministry declared further discussions "meaningless" following the Israeli strikes, state media reported, signaling a potential collapse in diplomacy.
The exchange marks one of the most direct confrontations between the arch-foes, raising fears of a wider regional war.
