Indian Student Attacked In US, Urges Help In Viral Video

A distressing video of an Indian student residing in Chicago has surfaced on the internet that shows the Indian student desperately pleading for help. According to the reports, an Indian student has been identified as Syed Mazahir Ali who was seeking help after an alleged attack by robbers.

The video shows Ali bleeding profusely from his nose and mouth, causing worry.

Soon after the video emerged, Ali's family, residing in Hyderabad, urged the Ministry of External Affairs to look into the matter, safeguard their son, and allow his wife to travel to the United States to support him during this difficult period.

Ali's wife Syeda Ruquliya Fatima Rizvi has written a letter to MEA S Jaishankar seeking help.

"I am very much worried about the safety and security of my husband in Chicago, USA. I request you to kindly help him in getting the best medical treatment and if possible kindly make necessary arrangements so I can travel to the USA along with my three minor children to be with my husband," Syeda Ruquliya Fatima Rizvi's letter read.

The CCTV footage shows Ali, a student at Indiana Wesleyan University, was pursued by three assailants near his residence in Chicago.

In distressing scenes, Ali can be heard pleading for help as he was mercilessly attacked by four individuals when he was heading back home. He described slipping near his house and being subjected to kicks and punches.
