Indian shot dead in Florida

Florida, May 20: An Indian businessman from Gujarat was shot dead by two 16-year old assailants in USA's Florida. Malav Deshi, a youngster had moved to Florida just a few months back with big dreams for his tobacco and beverages shop.

While customers express shock at the incident, the police have arrested the teen who allegedly robbed the shop and then shot Desai dead.

Deshi, who along with his fiancé, recently moved to St Augustine in Florida from North Carolina, died instantly inside the store.

The teenager had his face covered his face with a handkerchief, local media reported citing eyewitnesses.

This is the second such incident this year. Earlier, in April, 39-year-old Sanjay Patel was shot dead by two masked men during an apparent robbery attempt at a gas station in Connecticut.
