Islamabad/New Delhi, Aug 20: India has more to lose than Pakistan if another war between the two countries erupts, said The New York Times in its editorial on Wednesday.
Stressing the need for restraint in the wake of ongoing cross border exchange of fire between the two countries, the American newspaper says the attack could spiral out of control as the Kashmir remains a dangerous flash point.
It said both the neighbors will have a chance to resolve their differences through dialogue when national security advisors of Pakistan and India meet this month.
National Security Advisros (NSA) of India and Pakistan are scheduled to meet in New Delhi on August 23-24.

The decision to hold the NSA level talks was taken after the Prime Ministers of India and Pakistan met at Ufa last month. It was mutually decided to sit across the table and discuss a host of issues which could lay the road map to peace.
