Improving ties with India top priority: Nawaz Sharif

Islamabad, Dec 11: Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif told Indian High Commissioner T.C.A. Raghavan during a meeting on Wednesday that his country wants to resolve all contentious issues with India, according to a media report.

Bilateral ties between India and Pakistan and matters of mutual interest were discussed in the meeting, Geo News reported.

Sharif said the restoration of dialogue with India was a top priority.

Sharif said Pakistan and India coming closer could open up a new era of peace and prosperity in the region.
