Hyderabad Woman Found Dead In Australia; Suspected Husband Flees To India With Son

In Australia, the body of a 36-year-old woman from Hyderabad, identified as Chaithanya Madhagani, was discovered in a wheelie bin on the side of a road in Buckley on Saturday.

The woman, who was staying with her husband and son in Australia, was allegedly murdered by her husband, who then flew to India and handed over their child to her parents in Hyderabad, as reported by PTI.

Victoria Police Investigating Buckley Homicide

In a statement dated March 9 on its website, Victoria Police announced that homicide squad detectives are investigating after a deceased person was found in Buckley, near Winchelsea, that afternoon. "The deceased person was located on Mount Pollock Road around midday," stated the police.

Additionally, the police mentioned that a second crime scene had been established at a residential address on Mirka Way, Point Cook, and is believed to be connected to the Buckley homicide.

According to a statement by the Victoria Police, investigators are regarding the death as suspicious. They believe that the individuals involved are acquainted with each other, and the perpetrator may have fled overseas. There is currently no imminent danger to the community, and no arrests have been executed as part of the ongoing investigation.

Husband confessed to killing his wife

It was stated by Uppal MLA Bandari Lakshma Reddy that, as the deceased hailed from his constituency, her parents were met by him after receiving the information. The news agency PTI was informed by the legislator that, at the request of the woman's parents, a letter was written to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to bring her mortal remains to Hyderabad.

It was mentioned by the MLA that the office of Union Minister G Kishan Reddy was also informed in this regard. The woman's husband flew to Hyderabad and handed over the child to her in-laws there. Additionally, it was mentioned by the MLA that, according to the information provided by the woman's parents, their son-in-law "confessed" to having killed their daughter.
