A Passionate Endeavor

The billboard project was meticulously designed and conceptualized by Dr. Kusum Vyas, the founder of the Green Kumbh Yatra and Save Ram Setu Campaign. Along with Houston's dedicated volunteer, Umang Mehta, Dr. Vyas brought this vision to life. The Hindus of Greater Houston (HGH), an organization dedicated to inspiring and encouraging the community through positive vibes and the energy of Sanatan Vedic Dharma, generously funded the billboard, which occupies a prime location in Houston.

Engaging and Visually Interconnected

Dr. Kusum Vyas shared the intention behind the billboard's design, emphasizing the inseparable connection between Shri Ram and Ayodhya. The billboard's welcoming ambiance aims to emanate the true essence and sanctity of Shri Ram and Ayodhya by maximizing daylight and employing appropriate colors, creating a peaceful and heartwarming experience for everyone.

A Historic Moment

Dr. Vyas highlighted the significance of this billboard, stating that for the first time in history, the skies of a major US city will be adorned with Prabhu Shri Ramji. An estimated 1.5 million people weekly will have the privilege of Darshan of Shri Ram and the Ayodhya Mandir for an entire month.

Bringing Ayodhya to Houston

Umang Mehta expressed the desire to bring Shri Ram and the Ayodhya Temple to Houston, allowing everyone to feel a part of this momentous occasion. The giant-sized billboard serves as a reminder of the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya on January 22, which will be graced by the presence of leading saints and luminaries from around the world.

Grand Celebration in Houston

To mark this historic event, a grand celebration will be held in Houston on January 21 at the Gujarati Samaj of Houston Event Hall. HGH extends an invitation to everyone to join in the celebration of "Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya Mandir "Pran Pratishtha." Additionally, several temples in Houston will participate in the celebration, starting with Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav on Saturday at Vadtal Dham, Shree Swami Narayan Hindu Temple. The festivities will include a Havan, grand parade, Hanuman Chalisa path, cultural programs, Maha Deep Aarti, and fireworks. BAPS Mandir will also present a spectacular display of lights.

Diyas and Rangoli

Hindus of Greater Houston will light diyas in celebration of Shri Ram Mandir. The glittering lights of diyas and a magnificent Rangoli by Sangita Bhutada will further enhance the celebratory atmosphere.
