Here is why Putin's number 1 target is Jihadi John not Baghdadi
Moscow, Oct 21: Russia which has vowed to finish off the ISIS in Syria has made its number 1 target Jihadi John, the man responsible for the series of executions. Jihad John who originally hails from UK has been on the hitlist of his home nation and also the United States of America.
Ever since Vladimir Putin, the Russian President decided to enter Syria and fight against the ISIS, he has been taunting the Western Forces of putting up a weak fight.

The hunt for Jihadi John will be a competition by itself and the country which manages to strike him down will claim a major victory.

Who will get Jihadi John?
All the intelligence that has been collected clearly point towards the fact that Jihadi John is very much in Syria. There is a virtual race in Syria to get this public executioner of the ISIS dead or alive. The instruction that Putin has given to his forces is to do their best to get him alive.
Jihadi John whose real name is Mohammed Emwazi has been responsible for several beheadings. In the videos of the executions posted by him he has taunted both America and UK. David Cameron was in fact one of the first persons to have said that they will get Jihadi John soon.

With Russia making it clear that Jihadi John is their number one target, this would automatically step up the pressure on both UK and the US. Both the UK and US are not happy with Russia's presence in Syria.
The Russians on the other hand say that they are fighting the real war and have bombed 49 ISIS targets in one single day. The argument putforth by UK and the US is that Putin is only interested in supporting the Assad regime in Syria.
The Russian game:
The express.co.uk while quoting a US security source said that because the Russians have been invited into Syria by the regime it is easier for them to carry out special forces snatch or kill operations. The fear is that Russian forces will begin to target high-value players like Jihadi John and IS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
The killing of Jihad John or a high value target such as Abu Bakr-al Baghdadi would deal a blow to American pride who have so far claimed that they are fighting the ISIS with all sincerity. For the time being Russia seems to be on the offensive and has claimed to have ensured the fleeing of several jihadis from Syria.
