Six Dead, Including Three Children, in Tragic Georgia House Fire
In a tragic incident early Monday, a fire in a home southwest of Atlanta resulted in the loss of six lives, including three children. The Coweta County Coroner's Office confirmed the ages of the children as 6, 12, and 13. An older victim was reported to be in their 70s. The identities of the deceased have not been disclosed as of now.

The fire occurred in a residence just north of Newnan, Georgia, with 11 individuals inside at the time of the incident. Coweta County Fire Rescue reported that five survivors were transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, some of whom sustained serious injuries. Firefighters responded to the emergency call at 4:57 am, arriving within nine minutes to find more than half of the home engulfed in flames.
A firefighter from Coweta County also suffered minor injuries during the response. The local community and authorities have expressed their condolences, with the Coweta County Sheriff's Office urging people to keep the victims and their families in their thoughts and prayers.
Newnan is located approximately 40 miles (64 kilometres) southwest of Atlanta. Investigations into the cause of the fire are currently underway, conducted by Coweta County Fire Rescue alongside county and state fire marshals and the Coweta County Sheriff's Office.
