Four-member committee to probe Pakistan bombings

Islamabad, Sept 23: A four-member committee has been formed to probe the deadly suicide bombings near a church in Peshawar Sunday, that killed 81 people and injured 150 others, police said Monday.

The committee would probe the incident from different angles and bring the culprits to justice, the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) reported.

Ismail Khattak, a senior police officer in Peshawar, said a four-member committee has been formed comprising senior police officers to investigate the church attack case with different angles.

He said a new security plan has been prepared for protection of churches and other holy places of minorities.
