However, relatives and neighbors have identified the woman as Bernadine Pruessner, who resided in the home with her four children. Pruessner's father, Cordell Beache, expressed his grief and described his daughter as an exceptional person with intelligent children.

Beache recalled spending time with the family on Sunday evening, watching two of the children, 9-year-old twins Ellie and Ivy Pruessner, play soccer. They later enjoyed dinner together. In addition to the twins, the family included 5-year-old Jackson Spader and 2-year-old Millie Spader.
