15 injured in explosion at Indian restaurant in Canada
At least 15 people were injured in a powerful explosion at an Indian restaurant in Canada's Ontario province, media reports said on Friday.
The blast happened around 10:30 p.m. at the Bombay Bhel restaurant in Mississauga, Ontario, a city just south of Toronto. Two male suspects fled the scene after detonating a bomb, a news agency reported.
According to paramedics at the scene, three of the injured suffered "critical blast injuries" and were taken to a trauma centre in the neighbouring city of Toronto.
Officials did not yet know the cause of the explosion, like whether it was caused by a gas leak, an accident, or an incendiary device.
