Explosion at Austrian gas pipeline hub in Vienna: 1 dead, 18 injured

An explosion took place at Austria's main gas pipeline hub at Baumgarten east of Vienna on Tuesday, leaving several people injured, police said.

"An explosion occurred at 8:45 am (0745 GMT), followed by fire.

According to preliminary reports, one person has been killed and 18 were injured.
