Elon Musk Quietly Welcomes Third Child With Neuralink Director Shivon Zilis
Tech billionaire Elon Musk has welcomed his third child with Neuralink director Shivon Zilis earlier this year, according to a report by Bloomberg.
This brings his publicly known total number of children to 12. Musk and Zilis, who also share twins Strider and Azure born in November 2021, have kept the arrival of their new baby private.

Zilis, Neuralink's director of special projects, has not commented on the report. Daughter of a Punjabi Indian migrant mother, Sharada, and a Caucasian father, Richard, Shivon was born and raised in Canada. She is also an alumni of the prestigious Yale University.
The couple's previous children had their last names legally changed to Musk, incorporating Zilis' surname as their middle name.
This news follows a Wall Street Journal report alleging Musk had inappropriate relationships with female staff at SpaceX. A former SpaceX employee claimed that Musk suggested her to have children with him. She later left the company with a severance package after refusing Musk's offer. She also alleged that and was denied a salary increase.
Musk's family is large and somewhat complex. He has five children with his former wife, author Justine Musk: twins Griffin and Vivian, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian. He also shares three children with musician Grimes: Exa Dark Sideræl, Techno Mechanicus, and X. Including his three children with Zilis, Musk now has 12 children in total, though this has not been officially confirmed by the billionaire himself.
Musk has been vocal about his concerns regarding declining birth rates, considering it a significant threat to the future. When asked about his desired number of children, he said, "As many as I can, spend time with and be a good father to," Musk said in an interview.
He has reportedly encouraged his friends to have more children, reflecting his personal stance.
