Elon Musk Had Sex with SpaceX Intern, Asked Woman To Have His Babies: Report

Elon Musk, the founder of SpaceX, reportedly engaged in sexual activity with a SpaceX employee and a former intern. He also allegedly pressured a woman at his company to have children for him. When she refused, he allegedly denied her a raise and criticised her performance.

According to a report by the Wall Street Journal, Musk fostered a culture at his companies that made female employees uncomfortable. Female employees at Tesla reportedly experienced behavior that was described as 'creepy' or 'sexual', and some felt they were 'pursued' by Musk. A former SpaceX flight attendant claimed that in 2016, Musk exposed himself to her and offered to buy her a horse in exchange for an "erotic massage", as reported by Business Insider.

In 2013, another woman who resigned from SpaceX accused Musk in her exit interview of asking her to have his children. The Wall Street Journal also revealed that a woman at the company had a month-long affair with Musk in 2014 while she was his subordinate. The relationship ended, and she resigned from the company, agreeing not to discuss her work with Musk further.

Supported by text messages, a woman who worked at SpaceX stated that she received multiple requests from Musk to visit his house at night.

"Come by!" Musk wrote, but received no response. He then sent the following messages:

"Look, it's either me or 6am [exercise] :)"

"Just finished the Model 3 production call. It's def going to be hell for several more months."

"Are you coming over? If not, I will probably tranq out. Too stressed to sleep naturally."

"Probably best if we don't see each other."

She replied the next morning, apologizing for falling asleep. She explained that she had been trying to adjust her sleeping schedule for health reasons.

Friends of the woman said that she had mentioned the job becoming awkward due to Musk, and she eventually changed teams.

In 2021, five former SpaceX employees alleged a "culture of sexual harassment" at the company. One of the women described multiple instances of being groped. Earlier this year, a former SpaceX employee filed a lawsuit accusing the company of "sexual abuse and discrimination".

SpaceX is currently under investigation by California's civil rights agency over allegations of discrimination against women and retaliation against workers who raised concerns.
