Elon Musk Deletes X Posts Alleging Trump Link To Epstein Files Amid Public Feud

In a series of controversial tweets on X, tech billionaire Elon Musk claimed that U.S. President Donald Trump was mentioned in documents connected to convicted sex offender and notorious businessman Jeffrey Epstein. Musk has since removed these remarks. The now-deleted posts coincided with a dramatic and widely reported rise in hostilities between Trump and Musk.

Musk wrote: "Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files" in one of the erased exchanges.

Democratic leaders joined requests for the complete release of Epstein-related information after the remarks sparked a flurry of internet responses.

The feud between the two influential figures intensified after Musk harshly criticized the White House's $4 trillion tax and spending proposal. Musk slammed the bill as a "disgusting abomination," while also accusing Trump of "ingratitude." Trump retaliated by taking aim at Musk's business empire, saying the tech mogul was "wearing thin" and claiming he had "asked him to leave" his administration. Trump further accused Musk of having "gone CRAZY," and warned he might terminate government contracts and subsidies for Musk's companies as a cost-saving measure.

Jeffrey Epstein, who maintained ties with numerous global elites-including political leaders, royalty, business executives, and academics-was first investigated in 2005 in Florida over allegations of sexually abusing underage girls. He was arrested again in 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges but died in custody in August of that year. His death was ruled a suicide, though persistent speculation about foul play continues due to the high-profile nature of individuals potentially implicated.

Musk's deleted posts have reignited debate about the still-sealed Epstein files and fueled political controversy at a time of heightened partisan tensions. The White House has not responded publicly to the claims, and no evidence has emerged to substantiate Musk's assertions regarding Trump.
