Elderly Mexican woman’s savage reply to US woman who tried to bully her is rocking on Internet


Washington, Feb 11: It's Mexico 1: US -0 in footballing terms and American President Donald Trump wouldn't be a happy man learning this.

Instances of racism are still rampant in the US and recently, one case related to the menace surfaced involving two women - an American and a Mexican with the latter being quite elderly. The instance has got great attention on social media because of its tit-for-tat nature.

It happened in a coffee shop and the episode was witnessed by one Twitter user @jeylzzle who was serving the elderly Mexican woman.

As it was described on the social media platform, the American woman, wheelchair-bound, came behind the elderly Mexican woman and tried to shame her for not speaking in English.

"We're in America, why don't you speak English?" she asked, clearly aiming to humiliate her.

The elderly woman was far from feeling humiliated and shot back, saying: "You have legs, why don't you walk?"

Nothing could have been more savage a reply than this.

The Twitter user who shared the funny story was so impressed with the Mexican woman that he offered her free coffee. The tweet is though over a month old but it made a quite a mark on social media.
