Eight people shot dead at Texas home, US

According to police, an officer also fatally shot the suspect in the deadly shooting.

At least eight people, including the suspect, were shot to death at a home in Plano Sunday evening, according to US media reports.

As per CBS Dallas / Fort Worth reports, the incident happened at a home in a neighborhood on West Spring Creek Parkway.

Plano Police PIO David Tilley says officers responded to the residence just after 8 p.m. local time after gunshots were reportedly heard.

According to police, an officer also fatally shot the suspect in the deadly shooting.

Two other shooting victims were taken to the hospital for medial treatment, Plano police officer David Tilley told USA TODAY.
