Ebola virus claims two lives in DR Congo

Health Minister Felix Numbi told BBC (read more) that tests were conducted on two people in the Equateur province which tested positive. The two, reports suggest have died due to the infection.
Numbi said that a quarantine zone was being set up in order to prevent the disease from spreading.
Death toll from Ebola virus cross 1,400 according to World Heatlh Organisation.
Apart from this several people have died in the past few weeks in Congo after contracting an unidentified fever. However Numbi said that those deaths were not Ebola- related.
While many countries have dissuaded passengers travelling to Ebola infected countries, doctors say that a travel ban does not work.
