World Leaders Congratulate Donald Trump For Winning US Elections 2024

Soon after Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump took an impeccable lead in the US Elections 2024, wishes from around the world started to pour in. Ukraine's President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, extended his congratulations to Donald Trump for his significant win in the recent US Presidential elections. He reminisced about their September meeting where they discussed the strategic partnership between Ukraine and the US aimed at countering Russian aggression.

"I appreciate President Trump's commitment to the 'peace through strength' approach in global affairs. This is exactly the principle that can practically bring just peace in Ukraine closer. I am hopeful that we will put it into action together. We look forward to an era of a strong United States of America under President Trump's decisive leadership. We rely on continued strong bipartisan support for Ukraine in the United States," Zelenskyy expressed in a post on X.

Strengthening Strategic Partnerships

Zelenskyy emphasised Ukraine's interest in fostering mutually advantageous political and economic ties with the US. He highlighted that such cooperation would be beneficial for both nations. "Ukraine, as one of Europe's strongest military powers, is committed to ensuring long-term peace and security in Europe and the Transatlantic community with the support of our allies. I am looking forward to personally congratulating President Trump and discussing ways to strengthen Ukraine's strategic partnership with the United States," he added.

Norway's Prime Minister, Jonas Gahr Store, also congratulated Trump on his anticipated victory as US President. "Congratulations to Donald Trump on his victory in the U.S. presidential election. The US is Norway's most important partner and ally. I look forward to continuing to strengthen our relationship with the new Trump administration," he wrote on X.

European Leaders React

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen shared her congratulations, noting that the EU and US are more than mere allies. "We are bound by a true partnership between our people, uniting 800 million citizens.So let's work together on a strong transatlantic agenda that keeps delivering for them," she stated on X.

Hungary's Prime Minister Orban Viktor described Trump's return as a monumental event in US political history. "The biggest comeback in US political history! Congratulations to President@realDonaldTrumpon his enormous win. A much needed victory for the World!" he declared on X.
