Donald Trump Asks People To 'Immediately Evacuate Tehran' Amid Israel-Iran Tensions

As tensions between Israel and Iran spiral, Donald Trump has once again put himself at the heart of the global crisis-this time by issuing a stark warning: "Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran."

The dramatic message came via Trump's Truth Social account early Monday morning, sending shockwaves through international media and diplomatic circles. His message was clear: Iran is on the brink-and the world should take notice.

Leaving G7 to Lead from the Front

Trump, attending the G7 Summit in Canada, abruptly announced he would cut short his trip and leave Monday night, skipping key meetings with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The White House, through Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, confirmed that while Trump had a productive day-including signing a major UK-US trade deal with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer-he would return to the U.S. "due to escalating developments in the Middle East."

This exit positions Trump not as a bystander, but as a self-declared crisis leader, choosing to prioritize foreign policy flashpoints over multilateral diplomacy.

"Iran Cannot Have a Nuclear Weapon"

Trump's language echoed the hardline stance he maintained throughout his presidency. "Iran should have signed the deal I told them to sign," he posted, lamenting the potential loss of life. "Simply stated: IRAN CANNOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON."

This direct and ominous messaging, combined with his trademark slogans-"America First" and "Make America Great Again"-blended foreign policy with his re-election narrative.

Trump's post came shortly before reports confirmed a direct Israeli airstrike on Iranian state television during a live broadcast. Footage showed a reporter forced off-camera as dust and debris filled the studio, followed by reports of deaths among staff.

Trump's Influence Over the Crisis

While U.S. intelligence and military remain officially neutral in the Israel-Iran standoff, Trump's rhetoric has once again pushed American leadership to the forefront. His statement to evacuate Tehran-home to over 10 million people-is more than just a warning; it's a signal that Trump wants to define the West's response.
