Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un to meet in Sentosa Island hotel in Singapore on June 12
The final 'mystery' of the summit of the century - between US President Donald Trump and North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un - was resolved as both countries decided to hold the talks at the Capella Hotel on Singapore's Sentosa Island on June 12.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced on Twitter about the same on Tuesday, June 5. She also thanked Singapore for its "hospitality".
Officials from the US and North Korea have already met four times at the Capella Hotel last week to sort out the logistical issues, including setting up the venue. The meeting will take place at 9 am Singapore time on June 12 (6.30 am Indian Standard Time).
The officials had considered several hotels for the summit, including the noted Shangri-La Hotel which hosts the annual multilateral Shangri-La Dialogue every year. It also served as hosts to the historic meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and his former Taiwanese counterpart Ma Ying-jeou in 2015.
The Sentosa (Malay for peace and tranquillity) is an island off Singapore's southern coast with luxurious facilities.
Singapore has been heavily fortified ahead of the summit with the fierce Gurkha personnel deployed to ensure security, something the North Korean side is particularly concerned about. Singapore has also agreed to shoulder the bill as its own contribution to the summit which could pave way for an unprecedented peace initiative in the disturbed Korean Peninsula.
Trump had cancelled the meeting on May 24 in the face of North Korea's "tremendous anger and open hostility" but later decided to reinstate it as various parties having stakes in the peace process continued with their mutual engagement to make the talks successful.
