Donald Trump accuses judge's daughter of working for Kamala Harris

Speculation of political bias is heightening surrounding Donald Trump's indictment after he criticised judge Juan Merchan and his family, calling the fact that Merchan's daughter worked on the Biden-Harris 2020 presidential run.

Attacking the judge's family, Donald Trump said, "I have a Trump-hating judge with a Trump-hating family, whose daughter worked for Kamala Harris."

Trump demanded that he wants the trial moved to the Republican-friendly state of Staten Island, claiming the Manhattan venue is "unfair."

Donald Trump said that no one believes there is any strong evidence against him in the case. "Every single pundit and legal analyst said there is no case," Donald Trump told the crowd, adding that when he was indicted, his lawyers told him "there's nothing here, they're not even saying what you did."

Trump faces criminal charges for his alleged role in 36 felony criminal charges including the hush money payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels during his 2016 campaign to conceal an alleged affair that he has constantly denied.

Tuesday's Trump arraignment was another high-voltage drama in United States politics.

Trump, who became history by being the first former American president to be indicted, has surrendered himself before going to the court.

Trump pleaded 'not guilty' to 34 criminal charges against him. And left the courtroom after arraignment but without uttering a word. He then flew to Florida, as per the reports on CNN.
