Dispute between Pakistan and India resides in Kashmir issue: army chief
London, Oct 3: Pakistan army Chief General Raheel Sharif has termed the Kashmir issue an unfinished agenda of partition of the subcontinent.
"World community must come forward to help resolve the Kashmir issue for genuine peace in the region," said General Sharid while addressing the Royal United Services Institute, an independent think tank on defence and security.
"The dispute between Pakistan and India resides in the Kashmir issue," added he.
The army chief said that Pakistan would continue to support all efforts for an enduring and permanent peace in Afghanistan and warned against detractors and spoilers of these efforts. "While we continue to support enduring and permanent peace in Afghanistan, let us all beware of detractors and spoilers."
Pakistan's decision to call off NSA talks 'unfortunate': India
Pakistan called off NSA level talks between India and Pakistan in August this year. India termed the decision as unfortunate.
