Diddy Faces Multiple Lawsuits Alleging Sexual Assault and Abuse Over Decades

Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing new legal challenges, with lawsuits accusing him of serious misconduct. These include allegations of rape, sexual assault, and molestation of a minor. Six lawsuits were filed in Manhattan's federal court, adding to the growing list against the hip-hop mogul. Combs has denied all accusations. The lawsuits were filed anonymously to protect the identities of the accusers.

Diddy Accused in New Sexual Assault Lawsuits

Some accusers claim Combs used his celebrity status to lure victims to extravagant parties or drug-fueled gatherings, where he allegedly assaulted them. Allegations also include physical abuse and threats of violence if they did not comply with his demands or spoke out against him. These alleged incidents date back to the mid-1990s and include events at Combs' famous white parties in Long Island's Hamptons and other locations.

Allegations of Abuse and Threats

The recent lawsuits are part of a larger group of over 100 alleged victims pursuing legal action following Combs' arrest on September 16 for racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges. The lawsuits join more than a dozen others filed in the past year accusing Combs of sexual assault. His lawyers have not commented on these latest allegations.

Combs, aged 54, has pleaded not guilty in his criminal case. He is accused of coercing and abusing women over many years with assistance from associates, using blackmail and violence to silence victims. This includes kidnapping, arson, and physical beatings. He remains in custody at a Brooklyn federal jail after being denied bail twice, with judges deeming him a community threat.

Details from Recent Lawsuits

One lawsuit involves a John Doe who claims Combs molested him at age 16 during a 1998 white party. The man alleges that Combs told him he had "the look" of a star and ordered him to drop his pants as part of a supposed rite of passage into the music industry. The man complied due to fear and later realized it was sexual assault.

Other lawsuits filed in Manhattan's U.S. District Court include accusations of rape, forced oral sex, and drugging victims to incapacitate them. One Jane Doe alleges Combs raped her in a locked hotel room in 2004 after inviting her to a party, giving her drinks, and instructing her to snort cocaine. She claims he also forced her friend into performing oral sex and threatened their lives if they resisted.

Incidents from the Past

Another Jane Doe recounts an attack in 1995 at a Brooklyn party for Biggie Smalls' music video "One More Chance." She alleges Combs took her to a bathroom under the pretense of talking privately before unexpectedly kissing her. When she resisted, he allegedly slammed her head against the wall and raped her while threatening her life if she spoke out.

Additional John Doe lawsuits describe incidents such as a security guard being sexually assaulted by Combs after consuming a drugged drink at a 2006 white party. Another man accuses Combs of forcing him into oral sex in Macy's stockroom in 2008. A separate incident from October 2021 involves a man who suspects he was drugged before being assaulted by multiple men, including Combs.

An appeals court judge recently denied Combs' request for immediate release while awaiting trial scheduled for May next year. A three-judge panel from the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals is currently reviewing his bail request.
