Covid-19 Was Engineered By China as Bioweapon, Claims Wuhan Virologist

A researcher at the Wuhan Institute of Virology has made startling claims about the coronavirus or Covid-19, saying that the virus was engineered by China as a bioweapon and that his colleagues were given four strains of the virus to find out which could spread best.

In an exclusive interview conducted by Jennifer Zeng, a member of the International Press Association, Chao Shao shared shocking revelations of his experiences and those of his colleagues.

Covid-19 Was Engineered By China as Bioweapon, Claims Wuhan Virologist

Chao Shao shares an anecdote of how a fellow researcher at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, Shan Chao, told him that his superior had given him four strains of coronavirus and asked him to test them to see which one had the best ability to infect as many species as possible. Chao also said that Chao Shan was asked to find out how easy it was for the virus to infect humans.

Chao Shao also said that several of his colleagues went missing during the 2019 Military World Games in Wuhan. Later, one of them revealed that they had been sent to hotels where athletes from various countries were staying to "check the health or hygiene conditions." Since checking hygiene does not require virologists, Shao suspected that they had been sent there to spread the virus.

Furthermore, in April 2020, Chao Shan disclosed that in April 2020, he himself was sent to Xinjiang to assess the health conditions of Uyghur individuals detained in re-education camps. He implied that his mission was either to facilitate the spread of the virus or to observe its effects on humans, as conducting health checks would not necessitate the involvement of a virologist.

The above shocking information was disclosed to Shao by Chao Shan himself during the period from March to April 2020.

However, as the whistleblower mentioned during the interview, this is just a small piece of the entire puzzle. So far, the true origin of the pandemic that has caused nearly 7 million deaths worldwide, or even more, is still under exploration.

The interview was conducted by Zeng, a Chinese-born human rights activist and author.

    Experts Weigh In

The claims made by Shao have been met with mixed reactions from experts. Some have said that the evidence is credible and that it warrants further investigation, while others have dismissed the claims as unsubstantiated.

"The allegations are very serious, and they need to be taken seriously," said Dr. Richard Ebright, a molecular biologist at Rutgers University. "However, it's important to note that these are just allegations at this point, and there is no concrete evidence to support them."

Dr. Tim Trevan, a biological safety expert, agreed. "The claims are certainly plausible," he said. "However, we need to be careful about jumping to conclusions. There is a lot of speculation and conjecture going on right now, and it's important to let the evidence speak for itself."

Only time will tell whether the claims made by Shao are true. However, the allegations have raised serious questions about the origins of the coronavirus pandemic, and they deserve to be investigated thoroughly.
