Chinese President visit: New era of development to begin, says PM
Islamabad, April 20: A new era of development will begin in Pakistan, said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif as Chinese President arrived here on a two-day visit on Monday.
"The government will extend all possible help to Chinese companies for timely completion of project," said PM Sharif while talking to executives of Chinese companies.
He was talking to top executives of China Huaneng Group, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) and Zonergy Corporation, Dawn online reported.
ICBC, the largest bank in the world, will look into the possibility of setting up economic zones in Pakistan.
Leaders of the Chinese delegation said that they are pleased to be part of building the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
"Strong Pakistan-China friendship provides an excellent platform for boosting business relations between the two countries," said delegation leaders.

The meeting was also attended by the Federal Minister for Water and Power Khwaja Muhammad Asif, Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Pakistan's Ambassador to China Masood Khalid and Secretary Water and Power Younus Dagha.
Chief Ministers of Balochistan and Sindh have welcomed Chinese investment in the country.
