Conservative Activist Charlie Kirk Was Warned Of ‘100% Killed’ Before Fatal Shooting

Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist and ally of US President Donald Trump, was tragically shot dead during an open debate at Utah Valley University. The incident occurred on Wednesday as he addressed a large crowd gathered under a canopy displaying his slogan, "Prove Me Wrong." The shocking event has left many in disbelief.

Months before this tragic event, security expert Kris Herzog had warned Kirk of the potential danger he faced while speaking at university campuses. Herzog, who owns The Bodyguard Group of Beverly Hills, met with Kirk on March 6 at California State University. He informed Kirk that there was a "100% chance" of being killed if he did not enhance his security measures.

Security Concerns Raised

Herzog's team believed that Kirk's security was inadequate and advised him to take serious precautions. They suggested using bulletproof glass panels and metal detectors to ensure safety within a 700m radius. Herzog emphasized the importance of ballistic glass to protect against potential sniper attacks targeting the head.

Despite these warnings, Kirk did not maintain contact with Herzog after their meeting. Herzog expressed regret over this, stating, "My prediction of his murder has come true," highlighting the gravity of the situation. Mark Wilson, a colleague of Herzog who attended the same rally, also voiced concerns about Kirk's lack of protective measures.

Reactions to the Tragedy

The assassination has drawn strong reactions from various quarters. Former President Trump condemned the act, describing it as a "dark moment for America" and labelling the murderer as "a total animal." In response to this tragedy, Trump ordered American flags to be flown at half-mast until September 14 across federal buildings and US embassies worldwide.

The suspected shooter has been identified as Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old resident of Utah. He is currently in FBI custody following confirmation by Utah Governor Spencer Cox during a press conference held alongside FBI Director Kash Patel and other officials.
