Come Clean With Facts: Canada's Opposition Demands Answers From Trudeau On Nijjar's Killing
Pierre Poilievre, the leader of the Conservative Party, insisted on Wednesday that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau must provide a comprehensive account of all the facts pertaining to his allegations linking Indian government agents to the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
Speaking to the media, Poilievre asserted, "I believe the Prime Minister needs to be fully transparent with all available facts. Canadians should have access to all the evidence to form their judgments."

He further emphasized that the Prime Minister had not divulged any additional information privately, beyond what was conveyed to the public. Poilievre expressed the need for a more detailed presentation of information.
On Tuesday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had raised a "potential link" between Indian government agents and the assassination of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who served as the chief of the banned Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) and was killed in Surrey in June. In response, the Canadian government expelled a high-ranking Indian diplomat.
The Indian government dismissed Canada's allegations as "absurd and motivated," reaffirming India's unwavering commitment to the rule of law. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) issued a statement in this regard.
India also expelled a senior Canadian diplomat, Olivier Sylvester, on Wednesday. The MEA summoned the Canadian High Commissioner, Cameron MacKay, to convey India's decision.
