California based catholic priest gets jail for groping woman in flight

Washington, Aug 26: A California based catholic priest has been given six months jail term followed by six months of home confinement for groping a sleeping woman on a US Airways flight.

The priest identified as Father Marcelo de Jesumaria, 46, was sentenced on August 24 by federal court in Los Angeles.

The incident occurred when victim, a model was flying from Philadelphia to Los Angeles. Jesumaria touched a sleeping model's buttocks, breast and groin during a nighttime flight August 2014.

According to Daily Mail, Jesumaria enjoys 'cozy flights' with women and purposefully changed his seat to be next to the woman, but he initially denied touching her breast.
