Brussels terror attack: Donald Trump & other Republican candidates react
Washington, March 22: Republican presidential nomination front-runner Donald Trump on Tuesday reacted to the terror attack in Belgian capital Brussels, saying it was no more "beautiful and safe" it was once and that the US "must be vigilant and smart".
Do you all remember how beautiful and safe a place Brussels was. Not anymore, it is from a different world! U.S. must be vigilant and smart!

In January, Trump faced a backlash for calling Brussels a "hellhole". To back his proposal of barring foreign Muslims from entering the US, Trump had then cited the cases of Belgium and France, saying how they were hit by the failure of the Muslims in these countries to integrate.
Second-placed Republican candidate Ted Cruz also tweeted about the attacks expressing solidarity with the people of Brussels.

The third candidate, John Kasich, condemned the attack on a statement. It said the terror attacks in Europe and other parts of the world were against "our very way of life and against the democratic values upon which our political systems have been built".
All the three candidates criticised President Barack Obama's visit to Cuba at this hour. Cruz and Kasich particularly asked him to either return to Washington or go to Brussels.
