Border guards of India, Bangladesh exchange sweets on Eid
Agartala/Guwahati, July 18: The Border Security Force (BSF) and Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB) on Saturday exchanged sweets on the occasion of Eid, an official said.
"BSF officials gave sweet boxes to their BGB counterparts at all sectors of India-Bangladesh borders. BGB officials also reciprocated with similar gesture," BSF spokesman Lakshya Mehta told IANS.

He said this friendly traditional gesture of exchange of sweets was held in all sectors along the 4,096-km India-Bangladesh border.
Eid-ul-Fitr marked the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
