Bomb Blast In Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; 9 Dead, Over 35 Injured
Two suicide bombers detonated explosives at a military base in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday. According to the reports, this breach allowed other attackers to enter the compound. The bomb blast claimed at least nine lives and more than 35 got injured.
The terrorists targeted the security barrier at Bannu Cantonment shortly after Iftar, during Ramadan. Sources suggest that Jaish ul Fursan, recently allied with Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), orchestrated this attack. Social media visuals depicted thick smoke rising after the blasts, accompanied by gunfire sounds.

Coordinated Assault
Sources revealed that two simultaneous suicide car bombs (SVBIEDs) were used as diversions. This was part of a coordinated assault involving five to six terrorists. The attackers aimed to create chaos and confusion among the security forces stationed at the base.
