Biden's Quip To Xi Jinping: 'Beautiful Car, But Mine's A Beast'

The much-anticipated meeting between US President Joe Biden and his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, took place in the US, marking their first encounter in over a year. From significant discussions to photo opportunities, glimpses of their interaction flooded social media platforms.

Amid the widely shared moments from their meeting, a viral video emerged showcasing President Biden admiring Chinese President Xi Jinping's car. "It's a beautiful vehicle!" exclaimed Biden upon seeing Xi's car, to which Xi mentioned in Chinese that it was his Red Flag car, as per reports.

Biden, in turn, began discussing his own car while a translator conveyed his remarks to President Xi in Chinese.

In a parting gesture, while holding hands with the Chinese President and posing in front of Xi's car, President Biden mentioned, "You know what they call that car, they call it the beast." As the translation reached President Xi, he laughed, shook hands with Biden, and then entered the vehicle.

The US-China Summit, held at a grand estate in Woodside, California, concluded with Presidents Biden and Xi agreeing to navigate their differences and maintain manageable relations between the two countries, aiming to prevent any potential derailment.
