Biden Responds To Mystery Drone Surge Amid Trump’s Cover-Up Claims
President Joe Biden broke his silence on the recent surge in mystery drone sightings across the United States, particularly in New Jersey.
Speaking to reporters at the White House on Tuesday, Biden assured the public that there is “nothing nefarious” about the drones observed in recent weeks.

“Authorities are following this closely, and so far, there’s no sense of danger,” Biden said, addressing the growing speculation surrounding the unmanned aerial sightings. This statement came a day after former President Donald Trump accused the Biden administration of withholding information about the drones during a press conference at Mar-a-Lago.
Trump Alleges a Cover-Up
On Monday, Trump alleged that the government is concealing details about the drones, which he described as a puzzling phenomenon. “Our military knows where these drones took off from—whether it’s a garage or a field—and where they went. For some reason, they don’t want to talk about it,” he claimed.
Trump dismissed the notion that the drones could belong to adversarial forces, saying, “If it were the enemy, they’d have taken action. Something strange is going on, and I think the American people deserve answers.”
Government’s Response to Drone Sightings
Biden’s remarks echoed the sentiments expressed by several federal agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the Department of Defense (DoD). In a joint statement, the agencies confirmed that the sightings were being investigated and emphasized that they largely consist of legal commercial drones, hobbyist devices, law enforcement operations, and occasional misidentifications like manned aircraft or even stars mistaken for drones.
The Mystery Persists
The surge in drone reports—totalling around 5,000 sightings—has sparked widespread curiosity and conspiracy theories. While authorities work to address the concerns, Biden reassured citizens that the situation is under control and does not pose any immediate threat.
As the nation watches closely, the mystery of these drones continues to fuel debate, with officials striving to strike a balance between transparency and public safety.
