Barack Obama's family photos mailed to wrong address

Illinois, Jan 3: A book of personal family photos of the family of US President

was mistakenly sent to a woman in suburban Chicago, according to an Associated Press report. It said that the woman who received the gift was ensuring that it reaches the right destination.

The woman, Alane Church, said she was surprised to see the "Beautiful, personal" book in a damaged box her family had opened at their home on the New Year's Day.

According to TV reports, the book included a handwritten gift label from "Barack, Michelle + the girls."
Church said she wouldn't reveal the content of the book but said that the pictures of the daughters of the Obamas spoke volumes about the first couple's "very special, private moments of their year of 2013 together".

Sources in the White House confirmed the error in delivery but offered no details.
