Bangladesh: Ten people indicted in brutal killing of teenager
Dhaka, Aug 25: A court in Bangladesh indicted 10 people and issued arrest warrants against three absconding accused in the brutal killing of a 13-year-old Bangladeshi boy last month.
Teenage boy identified as Samiul Islam Rajon Rajon was publicly beaten to death by a group of men over a false allegation of stealing a bicycle in the northeastern city of Sylhet on July 8.
Sylhet Metropolitan court on Monday has ordered confiscate the properties of the three accused, one of whom has been detained in Saudi Arabia waiting repatriation.
A video of him being traumatised went viral and triggered nationwide outrage, with hundreds taking to the streets of the northeastern city of Sylhet.

Kamrul, who is the prime accused in the case, fled to Saudi Arabia after allegedly committing the crime along with his accomplices. Following a police probe, the allegation was found untrue.
