Bangladesh PM Yunus Invites Elon Musk To Launch Starlink In Country, Aims For 'Rollout In 90 Days'
Bangladesh's interim government Chief Adviser, Professor Muhammad Yunus, has invited SpaceX CEO Elon Musk to visit Dhaka and launch the Starlink satellite service in the country.
In a letter to Musk, Yunus highlighted that the visit would provide an opportunity to connect with Bangladesh's youth, who are expected to be the primary beneficiaries of this cutting-edge technology.

"Let us work together to realise our shared vision for a better future," the Chief Adviser stated in his letter to the tech billionaire.
"Integrating Starlink's connectivity into Bangladesh's infrastructure will have a transformative impact, particularly for the country's enterprising youth, rural and vulnerable women, and remote and underserved communities," the letter further stated.
According to reports, Yunus has also instructed his High Representative, Khalilur Rahman, to collaborate closely with Musk's SpaceX team to fast-track the necessary preparations, aiming for Starlink's launch in Bangladesh within the next 90 working days.
Last week, Yunus had an in-depth phone discussion with Elon Musk regarding potential collaboration and the prospects of introducing Starlink satellite internet services in Bangladesh.
"I look forward to it," Musk reportedly told Yunus during their conversation.
Starlink, operated by SpaceX, is a satellite constellation designed to provide global broadband coverage, particularly focusing on regions with limited or no access to high-speed internet.
