#BalochistanIsNotPakistan: Baloch people mark occupation day

Balochistan has been observing 27 March as 'Black Day' since the occupation of the province, in 1948 and each year they renew their pledge to continue the struggle for liberation and urge the international community including United Nations to support the Baloch freedom movement.

The pro-freedom Baloch political party 'Free Balochistan Movement' held protests and awareness campaigns in Balochistan and abroad to mark the Balochistan Occupation Day. The government and public building remained close and traffic was thin on the road on Friday.

Baloch protesters calls for support so far have fallen on deaf ears as Pakistan and Iran continue to commit crimes against humanity in occupied Balochistan and the world watches in silence.

The hashtag #BalochistanIsNotPakistan was trending on Twitter which highlighted how the Paksitani atrocities against the Baloch people since the illegal occupation of Balochistan in March, 1948.

The Free Balochistan Movement activists also held a demonstration and awareness campaign at Berlin gate in Germany. The protestors carried placards, a large banner which read 'Balochistan is not Pakistan' and pictures of the victims of Pakistani state terrorism in Balochistan.
