Ossification Test Confirms Dharmaraj Kashyap is Not Minor in Baba Siddiqui Murder Case
The Mumbai Police are delving into the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui, a former Maharashtra minister. An ossification test confirmed that Dharmaraj Kashyap, one of the accused, is not a minor. Siddiqui was shot by three attackers in Bandra on Saturday. The police have arrested Gurmail Baljit Singh, 23, from Haryana and Dharmaraj Rajesh Kashyap, 19, from Uttar Pradesh. Another accomplice managed to escape.

The crime branch presented the accused in court, where Kashyap's lawyer argued that he was underage. However, the court ordered an ossification test on Sunday, which proved otherwise. Consequently, Kashyap was remanded to police custody until 21 October. Meanwhile, the investigation led to the arrest of Pravin Lonkar, aged 28, from Pune.
Conspiracy Behind the Murder
Pravin Lonkar is related to Shubham Lonkar, who is implicated in another shooting case in Nirmal Nagar. According to officials, the Lonkar brothers orchestrated Siddiqui's murder and recruited Kashyap and Shivkumar Gautam for the task. The police continue their investigation into this conspiracy.
In a late development on Monday evening, Pravin Lonkar was apprehended by the crime branch. His involvement adds another layer to the ongoing investigation as authorities work to uncover more details about the plot against Siddiqui.
As investigations proceed, police are piecing together evidence and testimonies to understand the full extent of the conspiracy. The involvement of multiple individuals suggests a well-planned attack on Siddiqui.
The case has drawn significant attention due to Siddiqui's political stature and the violent nature of his death. Authorities are determined to bring all involved parties to justice and ensure accountability for this crime.
