Asian Games 2023: Schedule For October 8, Closing Ceremony

Men in action conclude the last day of the Asian Games 2023 at the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou in the People's Republic of China followed by a grand closing ceremony that will be held in the evening.

It has been a captivating couple of weeks in Hangzhou that has witnessed India achieving 107 medals in the Asian Games 2023. The Indian athletes created history by winning 107 medals - 28 Gold, 38 Silver and 41 Bronze of them.

Extraordinary win for India with 12 medals on Saturday, October 7. India achieved four medals in Archery, and then the Women's Kabaddi team won their Gold to make history, which was the 100th medal for the nation.

The men's Kabaddi Team also won Gold defeating Iran, and so was the men's Cricket team, who were handed the Gold medal after the Final against Afghanistan got washed out.

India achieved a record-breaking Gold Medal in the Men's Doubles Doubles Badminton event, with Chirag Shetty and Satwiksaireaj Rankireddy achieving the feat. Other Indian players include Arjun Eriberaisi, R Prakash Narayanan, D Gupta, Vidit Gupta, Pentala Haricrishna and others. Additionally achieved a Silver Medal in the Chess event.

Artistic Swimming Team Free Routine - 7:30 AM
Karate Men's Team Kata - 6 AM onwards
Karate Women's Kumite - 9 AM

Indian athletes will not be taking part in the event on Sunday. India has wrapped up all the events and hence there will be no men in action from India today. However, the Indian athletes would be a part of the closing ceremony of the event.
