Arizona Resident Finds 26-Year-Old Lego In Nose-Finally, A Real ‘Block'buster!

Andi Norton, a 32-year-old from Arizona, made a startling discovery recently when a Lego piece, lodged in their nostril for 26 years, finally came out while blowing their nose in the shower.

Norton, who shared the news with their followers on Instagram on September 2, revealed that the incident dates back to their childhood in the 1990s, as reported by NDTV.

At just six years old, Norton accidentally inhaled the small Lego piece, which remained hidden despite their mother's efforts to retrieve it. The foreign object's presence was unknown until now, revealing itself after nearly three decades.

Norton, who uses they/them pronouns, explained that their doctor had recommended blowing their nose in the shower due to the dry, hot summer conditions. The steam from the shower likely helped dislodge the Lego piece from their nasal passages.

In a video shared on social media, Norton humorously captioned the discovery: "Lego stuck in my nose for nearly 3 decades finally comes out? I CAN SMELL COLOURS NOW." They elaborated on their experience, stating that regular nasal cleansing in the shower had been beneficial, particularly with the increased humidity from the steam.

"My doctor suggested this technique to help clear my nasal passages," Norton said in the clip. "I've been doing it regularly over the past six months, and it seems to have worked."

Norton also shared their history of sinus issues, allergies, and congestion, attributing their long-standing discomfort to various environmental allergens, including cats, dogs, grass, native trees, and dust. They had long assumed their congestion was related to these allergies.

This unusual discovery highlights the importance of considering all potential causes of persistent nasal issues and serves as a reminder of how everyday activities, such as showering, can unexpectedly lead to significant health revelations.
