Apple Unveils iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, Check Out Prices In India

Tim Cook on Tuesday unveiled the new models of Apple - iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Plus. The latest version include a new FHD resolution OLED screen offering up to 2000 nits of peak brightness with Dynamic Island.

The cost of the the iPhone 15, and the iPhone 15 Plus starts at $799 and $899 respectively while the price of the iPhone 15 in India is Rs 79,900 and iPhone 15 Plus costs Rs 89,900. iPhone 15, and iPhone 15 Plus offer 128 GB of internal storage.

The major difference between these two models is that the iPhone 15 comes with a regular-sized 6.1-inch screen, protected by Ceramic Shield and the iPhone 15 Plus comes with 6.7-inch screen, slightly bigger than iPhone 15.

Special features of the iPhones include roadside assistance powered by satellite connectivity and precision find my feature. These iPhones will ship with iOS 17 out-of-the-box with support for new features like NameDrop and StandBy.

Just like the pro models, the iPhone 15 series also gets a 48 MP wide-angle camera with support for 2x optical quality telephoto shooting, a 12 MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 12 MP selfie camera.

Apple claims that the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Plus can offer all-day battery life. Again, both iPhones now flaunt a new USB Type-C port for faster charging.

The company has announced the sale of the iPhones from September, however, consumers may place their orders from September 15.
