Apple Raises Prices for Streaming, Gaming Plans
Apple Inc. is raising the prices for its AppleTV+ streaming and Arcade gaming plans as well as its bundled Apple One service that includes streaming, music and other subscriptions.
Cupertino, US: Apple Inc. has announced that it will be raising the prices of its AppleTV+ streaming service, Arcade gaming platform, and Apple One bundled subscription service. The changes will take effect immediately.
AppleTV+

The price of AppleTV+ will increase from USD 6.99 to USD 9.99 per month. This marks the first price increase for AppleTV+ since its launch in November 2019.
Apple Arcade
Apple Arcade will also see a price increase, from USD 4.99 to USD 6.99 per month. Apple Arcade offers a library of over 200 games that are free of ads and in-app purchases.
Apple One
The price of the Apple One Individual plan will increase from USD 16.95 to USD 19.95 per month, while the price of the Apple One Family plan will increase from USD 22.95 to USD 25.95 per month. Apple One bundles together Apple Music, AppleTV+, Apple Arcade, and 200GB of iCloud storage.
Other Streaming Services
Apple is not the only streaming service to raise its prices recently. Netflix, Disney+, and Hulu have all increased their prices in recent months. The price increases come as streaming services face increasing competition from each other, as well as from traditional pay-TV providers.
The price increases for AppleTV+, Apple Arcade, and Apple One are likely to be met with some resistance from consumers. However, Apple is betting that its high-quality content and services will be worth the extra cost. Only time will tell whether Apple's gamble will pay off.
