Annoyed Over Flight Diversion, Lufthansa Pilot 'Draws' Huge Penis In The Sky
An incident involving a Lufthansa pilot has made headlines as it is claimed that the pilot created a 24 km long shape resembling a penis in the sky after being asked to divert the flight.
The pilot, who remains unnamed, was originally scheduled to fly from Frankfurt to Sicily on July 28. However, due to reduced operations at the Fontanarossa airport, he was instructed to land in Malta instead. It is believed that the pilot grew irritated over the sudden change in schedule, leading to the controversial sky drawing.

The inbound flight from Frankfurt had to be informed that landing at the Fontanarossa airport was not possible due to a terminal fire that occurred in July. As a result, the aircraft was redirected eastward towards the Sicilian coast with instructions to divert its course towards Malta.
According to reports, the pilot allegedly became agitated over the need to stall the aircraft during the diversion process. Subsequently, while heading towards Malta, the plane accidentally flew in a manner that formed the shape of male genitalia in the airspace. This unintended maneuver took approximately 16 minutes to complete before the pilot redirected the aircraft back over Sicily and south towards Malta.
Lufthansa has responded to the incident, stating to La Repubblica that the penis shape was created unintentionally. The pilot had to circle in the airspace before receiving instructions to divert, and the sudden change in wind patterns is said to have contributed to the unintended drawing.
