Alabama: College grades got this parent murdered

Alabama, June 1: A 22-year university student, home from college, killed his mother after a verbal spat over his grades. Tyler Ryan Blansit called 911 on Friday afternoon, said police.

When they arrived, they saw Sherry Ann Blansit's body in a pool of blood in the back yard. He confessed to have killed his mother after a spat over his grades. Following which, he hit his mother with a baseball bat, killing her instantly.

A student of Alabama University, Blansit was home several weeks and was waiting for his grades. His father was out working when the incident happened. Tyler was the only son of the couple. He has been charged with murder and has been jailed.
